Our Favourite Places to Visit

All the photographs that you see on our website are taken from our visits to the many beautiful places to visit here in Brittany and in particular Morbihan. There are so many places to visit, but here are just a few of our favourite destinations, which hopefully will give you a taster of where you could visit.

Larmor-Plage

Our favourite seaside town, just 45 minutes drive, with its many glorious sandy beaches and some great restaurants located right on the beach. On your way here why not stop off and visit the Submarine Museum in Lorient.

Josselin

With the impressive 11th century Chateau on the banks of the Nantes-Brest Canal and the half timbered houses dating back to 1538, you can't help but fall in love with this Petite cité de caractère.

Carnac

Just 1 hr drive is Carnac, world famous for it's standing stones. The 7,000 year old site is the largest site of standing stones in the world, there are three sites to see Menec, Kermario and Kerlescan.

From here you could travel onto to the peninsula of Quiberon with it's sandy beaches and wild coast line ideal for a coastal walk or just finding a great restaurant.

Auray-Saint-Goustan

One of our favourite places to visit and take our family and friends, just 50 minute away. The town has two quarters, the upper is centred around St Gildas church, with may artisan shops, while the lower town is clustered along the banks of the River Loch, once it was a thriving port in which saw the arrival of Benjamin Franklin to meet King Louis XVI.

There really are so many places to visit like Lorient, Vannes, Lac Guerledan, Kerguehennec, Quimper, Concarneau, Pont Avon, Dinan and Brest, where will you explore?
